‘Fraternity for Eternity’
As men who put our faith in Christ Jesus, we believe that our fellowship is not broken even by death. Rather, we are confident that we will worship the Lord together in His presence in the life to come! Hence, our motto is “Fraternity for Eternity”. The bond between AGO men is far more than college friendship.
“You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love.”

‘To uphold the traditions and ideals of the university’
AGO Epsilon has been involved on SDSU’s campus for decades. Each year we participate in philanthropies and outreaches to serve the campus and the great San Diego community in practical ways. AGO men have served on college boards, AS leadership, Intervarsity and a range of organizations on campus.
“Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another”
John 13: 34
‘To search reverently for the truth’
AGO men strive for excellence in whichever scholastic field we pursue. Whether our major is Biology, Linguistics, Philosophy or Music, we aim to honor the Lord with and use our education to help others. High scholastic goals are one of the results of a reverence and humility to Scripture. We have weekly Bible studies to dive into the Word together! (Proverbs 1:7)
“You must love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind“
The Preamble to our National Constitution states our purpose:
“Believing in the Lord Jesus Christ as our personal savior, we, as Christian young men of Alpha Gamma Omega Fraternity, purpose that it shall be the aim of this fraternity…”
- To win others to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ
(Mark 16:15; II Corinthians 5:19; John 3:16)
- To promote Christian fellowship,(Philippians 2:1&5)
- To present Christian ideals in word and deed,
- To search reverently for the truth,(John 8:32; John 16:13; John 17:17; Acts 17:11)
- To uphold the traditions and ideals of the university,
(Romans 13:1; Colossians 2:8&9)
- And to deepen the spiritual lives of the members.
Our Motto: “Fraternity for Eternity”
As men who put our faith in Christ Jesus, we believe that our fellowship is not broken by death. Rather, we are confident that we will worship the Lord together in His presence in the life to come!
Our Fraternity Verse:
“Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman who needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” II Timothy 2:15
Here we receive the apostle Paul’s advice on gaining the approval of God. Paul was writing of the Gospel of a Crucified and Risen Lord. Our verse tells us to concentrate fervently on living and spreading the Gospel of Christ, so that we can stand before Him unashamed, having our works approved by Him.
